Homeless Officer Stacy Sanders has served as the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homeless Project Officer since 2001. In March 2017, she permanently relocated her office to our 40 bed Humanitarian Men’s Program, The Lodge. The homeless population has come to know and trust her to do the right thing and be their advocate in the community. Officer Sanders also supervises the FPD staffing of our monthly Homeless ID Program, which provides, free of charge, a color ID complete with photograph, fingerprint, signature as well as all pertinent identification and medical conditions.
The ID card hardware & software was funded through a grant from The City of Fayetteville.
