Operation Inasmuch is the recipient of the Cumberland Community Foundation Lilly Grant challenge! All donations to the FAOIAM Endowment Fund through the Cumberland Community Foundation will be matched, up to $50,000, dollar for dollar through October 2020.
What is an endowment?
An endowment is a fund where the principal is never spent. Instead, it’s invested to create an ongoing source of support for an organization. Because endowment gifts generate earnings each year and serve as a permanent source of funding, they play a vital role in the long-term financial stability of Operation Inasmuch’s ministry. When you choose to make an endowment gift, you can make a difference not only during your lifetime, but also for generations to come.
You can make endowment gifts of:
- Cash/checks in any amount
- Real estate/life estate
- Bequests: name Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch Endowment Fund in your will
- Beneficiary designation for your life insurance or retirement accounts
- Other tangible assets
- Create your own designated endowment fund
To make a donation to the FAOIAM Endowment Fund, you can make a check payable to Cumberland Community Foundation with a designation of “Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch Endowment Fund” in the memo line. Please mail checks to CCF, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
