Vision Statement
To walk among the broken and struggling,
being the hands and feet of Jesus.
About Us
For over 14 years, Operation Inasmuch has impacted our community through a volunteer, one day, hands-on mission blitz as local churches have come together to be the hands and feet of Christ.
In January 2007, Operation Inasmuch opened its doors as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to continue the mission but with the vision to be a year round ministry to the Fayetteville area.
How do we make this happen?
Blitz Day
Each year a moderate to low income neighborhood is chosen to be the recipient of home repairs for owner occupied houses with a focus on the elderly and disabled.
Volunteers host a block party for the neighborhood children with food, crafts, and games.
In church fellowship halls, volunteers use their gifts for sewing projects, letter writing to prisoners, hand-crafting memory books for foster children and performing a multitude of mission projects to meet vital human needs.
In the community teams of volunteers serve by performing blood pressure checks, serving communion, singing in nursing homes, laundromat ministry and casserole ministry.
Breakfast Program
In July 2009 we began serving the homeless and struggling of our community with a hot nutritious breakfast. Each morning a volunteer team arrives to serve a meal to nearly 150 children of God. Our faithful kitchen staff is supported by 60 rotating teams of volunteers from local churches, Christian clubs and businesses.
Skills Classes
Through an in-house training program, those we serve will be encouraged to gain tools for employment. One of these programs, Jobs for Life, is scheduled to begin Autumn 2010.
In Summer 2010 the grand opening of the computer lab will begin with Basic Keyboarding skills and Microsoft Office training sessions.
